Crazy Rich Brown Sugar Tea Latte (Classic Black Tea Latte and Roasted Oolong Tea Latte)

Note: This recipe is for 1 serving. Want to make more than one? Easy. Just multiply the ingredients :)

  1. Boil water in a small saucepan.

  2. Remove saucepan from stove.

  3. Pour bar pa tea premium tea leaves (see charts for measurements) into the water and stir gently.

  4. Cover and steep for the suggested duration (see charts for steep times). After steeping, strain out the tea leaves.

  5. Refrigerate the tea until tea is fully chilled. Tips: leave in the refrigerator over night for stronger tea taste.

  1. To cook bubbles, click here for instructions.

  2. Now cook Bar Pa Tea Brown Sugar in a saucepan or a pot with low heat. Mix in golden bubbles (make sure you drain out the excess water). Keep stirring until brown sugar is dissolved. It usually takes about 1-3 minutes. At this point, the golden bubbles (tapioca pearls) should become sticky and gooey. Yum!

  3. Let’s assemble the drink while the golden bubbles and brown sugar glaze are warm. Warm bubbles with chilled milk tea/latte?! Yes! Trust us. It’s super yummy.

Note: Below is the assembly for 1 serving.

1 scoop cooked bubbles with Crazy Rich brown sugar glaze

1/2 cup ice

3-4 teaspoons brown sugar syrup

1/2 cup milk (dairy, almond, oat, soy)

2/3 cup chilled tea

  1. Fill a glass with a scoop of bubbles. For the “dirty” brown sugar look, tilt and roll the glass so the bubbles with Crazy Rich brown sugar glaze can coat around the inside of the glass.

  2. Add brown sugar syrup

  3. Add ice and milk.

  4. Carefully pour in chilled tea over the ice for a gradient effect.
